Discovery Cruises has launched its 2007 Europe brochure, featuring a unique range of 26 voyages, aboard the spacious and elegant mv Discovery. Destinations include Scandinavia, Russia, the Baltic, Iceland, Greenland, the Mediterranean, the Black and Red Seas and North Africa.

Early booking savings of up to 50% are offered to all passengers booking at least 90 days prior to departure.

New for 2007 are eight 'Grand Voyages' that combine two or more Europe cruises, offering excellent value for money for those who can spare the time.

Managing Director, David Yellow, says: "Our unique range of cruises for Europe 2007 will appeal to those with a sense of adventure who enjoy learning about the history and culture of a destination. On all cruises, the port lecturers and guest speakers will ensure that you return home with a deeper understanding of all the civilizations, both ancient and modern, that we visit.”

The new 'Grand Voyages' on offer include:

* The 26 day Iceland, Faroes & Baltic, departing the UK on 20 July, from $6,150 pp*
* The 30 day Grand Mediterranean Odyssey, departing the UK on 12 September, from $5,750 pp*
* The 22 day Italy, Adriatic & the Aegean, departing Nice on 20 September, from $4,195 pp*
* The 21 day Wonders of Antiquity, departing Egypt on 18 November, from $3,650 pp*

The brochure also features a string of new destinations – Discovery visits the ancient, port city of Koper in Slovenia, and Zadar and Hvar in Croatia, before cruising the Dalmatian coast on a 12-night Adriatic & Aegean Treasures voyage, departing Venice on 29 September. Prices start at $2,650 pp*.

The three-day stay in St Petersburg on the Baltic cruises will continue, allowing more time to explore the fascinating museums, cathedrals and palaces of this magnificent city. There will also be a chance to combine St Petersburg with a memorable tour to Moscow. Beginning in London on 31 August, the 14 day Baltic Discovery voyage with stops at Korsor, Tallinn, St Petersburg, Gdynia, Warnemunde and a transit of the Kiel Canal before returning to Harwich, costs from $3,495 pp*.

The lead-in price is $1,490 pp* for the 9 day Cruise to the Riviera, beginning in London on 12 September with stops at Lisbon, Gibraltar, Almeria and Nice.

The Discovery offers all of today's modern, expected comforts within a sleek exterior reminiscent of the classic liners of yesteryear. Small enough to reach out-of-the-way ports but large enough to make light work of crossing the great oceans, Discovery shuns the excesses of today's mega liners and has been expressly conceived for Discovery Cruises special brand of 'discovery' cruising.

*Fares shown include the early booking discounts, and are per person based on two sharing an inside, twin-bedded cabin and include all meals, on-board entertainment, on-board gratuities, port taxes, baggage handling and onboard lecture programmes.
